Embryo removed from 35 Year old man

Igor
Namyatov a tractor driver, 35 years old, first started having problems at the age of 15; experiencing pains in his back. Doctors played it down as to him having a fatty tumor.
Twenty years later the pains returned and
Igor had an operation to have a presumed tuma removed. Instead his little twin brother (an unborn embryo twin bubby) was removed!

This is a fascinating and VERY common, but rarely heard of condition. Some label it the vanishing twin syndrome. Normally the weaker twin dies during gestation, and any hair, sometimes teeth, and fingernails (that arent broken down in human acids) remain, and sometimes grow!

Often expecting mothers dont even know they're carrying twins because the stronger twins heartbeat outthumps the weaker twin!

The surviving twin often grow up feeling 'alone' 'lost' and 'empty' and often find relief in knowing that they were a surviving twin!

Fascinating stuff. Google it!

In the overall scheme of things, surely this 'condition' has to rank right up there with the freakiest things evolution can throw our way.

If it's as common as all that, what does that say about the quality of the doctors who fail to pick up on it?

Intersting. If honeysmacks right, then wrong probably isnt the word to describe this. But, where else would you put a pic and topic like this?
Andy k 1. You dont know everything doctors know. 2. Doctors dont know everything!, actually compared to what there is to know, doctors dont know shit.
