On the sea floor of the deep sea (Gorda Escarpment off Northern California) gather creatures called Blob Sculpin. Scientists at the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute found an undersea nursery of the guys that rest on their eggs till they hatch. Not a very usual thing for fish to do. There are a group of octopus's near by who do the same. They seem to like the hot spots of the area. The fish themselves are not quite wrong as such, actually quite amazing. But I add all types of wierd and wonderful things.

Blob sculpins are also known as fatheads or blobfishes. Their bodies density is slightly less than that of water!
And we love them because they are outstandingly beautiful!
They also do not hunt for food, but float slightly above the ocean floor and wait for food to drift into their mouth!
This is a lovely fish, one of nature's miracles, people have said that they are ugly- those people are blind or ignorant.
The sadness in a blob sculpin's face is misleading. They are actually too floppy to smile, but smile inside all the time, happy to be the only fish with a nose!
for about a year now we have been aware of the blob. We like to think we know it well and believe it is a beautiful fish .. we were just wondering if any one knew what they tasted like?
They are so cute <3 But I'll admit one thing, they are lazy, very very lazy, I mean seriously drifting in the ocean waiting for food to drift into their mouths :P Still the nose is awesome.

i have to admit this is one ugly freaking fish but it is unique in a wierd kind of way too bad there is not much info on this creature

Blob fish are definately NOT the only fish with noses. Type "nose fish" into google images and see for yourself.
